Duet Display Reviews

The beauty of Duet Display is that you can get the most out of your devices by simply using the right software. You've already got the iPhone or iPad, and it's unlikely that you would be using those devices while on the computer anyway. To make the most out of those inactive screens, you can use Duet Display to get consistent and valuable utility from your mobile screens while working at your desktop system. Using this software is quite simple. First, you must download and install the software to your desktop, which is no more difficult than any other straightforward installation process. Once the software is successfully installed, connect your iPad or iPhone to the desktop via the Apple charging cord that came with your device. When the Duet Display software detects your device, which it will do on its own, the software will take control of the touchscreen interface and make it act as an extension of your existing workspace. Since the software uses a connection that is wired, you won't have to deal with lag caused by slow WiFi or strange network issues. The ability to use a touchscreen interface with your desktop system is quite amazing, and it includes the continued functionality of all the standard touchscreen gesture controls. The newest version of the software even lets you include a digital Touch Bar to your iPad if you are using a Mac as the primary desktop platform. When you upgrade to the professional version of the software, you can use the combination of your iPad, desktop system, and Apple Pencil to create a solid tablet for graphic design. The algorithms used by this software are built for responsive sketching and artistic development, and it has been optimized to fulfill the needs of professional artists, illustrators, and graphic designers. There are several advanced features that are only included with Duet Display Pro, including tilt and pressure sensitivity for the slave device, palm rejection, hover, and many other drawing functions. The software is perfectly suitable for use with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Painter, Manga Studio, ToonBoom, Lightroom, and many other professional apps. In order to use the free version of Duet Display, you must have a PC or Mac with Windows 7 or later or Mac OS X 10.9 or later, respectively. You'll also need an iPad or iPhone using at least iOS 7.0. If you have the professional version, it is also compatible with any iPad Pro featuring an Apple Pencil, but it requires at least the 64-bit versions of Windows 8.1 if you have a Windows PC. Mac OS X 10.9 is still sufficient for Duet Display Pro.

Duet display is awesome. It's so useful that it's a feature that Macs/iPads should come with by default from Apple.
