You'll be able to blur, crop, add effects, change fonts, add borders, and add stickers to photos that you capture directly through the camera portion of the app. All the user interface features are easy to understand, so you'll have no trouble using the app if you have any experience at all with mobile photo editing software. The app is so responsive and intuitive that it could even be called fun to use. The number of options it gives you to add lighting effects, filters, and other alterations makes the process quite enjoyable. There aren't many features that are unique to the Pixlr app, but the uniqueness of the app is derived from the combination of features found within it. You'll be able to achieve results that other apps can't simply because of the combination of amazing features. A little creativity is all you need to get the most out the software. Of course, as with most pieces of software that are this advanced, there are a few downsides. There is no clear way to resize images directly through the editing interface. Instead, it gives you the option to do so when you save the changes you've made to an image. However, this will only work if you turn on the customization feature in the app settings. Another negative of the app is that you must download all the stickers, fonts, borders, and effects before you can use them, and you can only download them through the app. If you are connected to WiFi, it doesn't take long to do this, but it is still strange that the process doesn't happen automatically with the installation of the rest of the app. Beyond these few downsides, the software is more than capable of handling most common photo editing needs. Other editors only focus on a single area, but this photo app is an all-in-one solution that will produce photos with the integrated camera app, edit them with the integrated editing functions, and combine them to form complex collages. There are other options for photo editors, but Pixlr is hard to beat simply because of the range of features it includes. Other apps might have singular features that are more advanced, but you'd be hard-pressed to find another single app that includes more advanced features than Pixlr. When the impressive user interface is taken into account, the software is certainly worthy of the high praise it typically gets from its users.
