PowToon is an easy-to-use application that you can get started instantly. The PowToon Editor is very intuitive and has an uncluttered look and feel. On the top you have the controls to add texts and images, on the left you have the slides, the bottom panel shows the timeline control of the slides, and the right side has the built-in characters you can use in your video. The image library is large and with the subscription you get royalty-free music. In the current pricing structure, you get 100 MB storage, 5 exports, and basic video quality up to 5 minutes in the Free tier. In the Pro Tier, you get 2GB storage, 25 exports, and HD quality video up to 15 minutes for $19/month. Both Free and Pro tier will have PowToon logo embedded in the video. In the Business Tier, you get 10GB, unlimited exports, and full HD video up to 8 minutes or HD video up to 60 minutes with PowToon logo removed for $59/month. There is a new Agency Tier for $299/month that is coming soon. PowToon Free Tier is great for users who are okay with short videos with embedded logos in it. But for commercial use, the Business Tier is expensive. But it is still a good option for small businesses who want to experiment with alternative presentation methods for their marketing.
