Once you hit the checkout section of retailers supported by Honey, a pop-up will automatically give you the option to check coupons. The Honey extension will then field test the promo codes available directly in your browser and automatically assign you the one that saves you the most money. While Honey got its start at simplifying the process of sorting through coupons, they've since expanded to offer a price drop feature when shopping on Amazon. With DropList, you can tag items that interest you and automatically receive an alert when these products go down in price. Honey even lets you see the historical pricing trends for products that you can use to plan your future purchases. Tagged items send alerts whenever their price drops by more than five percent, and users can choose to track these products for 30, 60, or 90 days. The final component of the Honey experience is Honey Gold, a free incentives program that rewards shoppers for using the extension. Thousands of stores are available through Honey Gold, and they offer up to 20% cash back on all purchases made by Honey users. This cash back currency can then be turned into gift cards or other rewards.
