Prestashop also comes with marketing tools and includes both cross-border features and access to international markets to allow for international sales and ultimately an increase in revenue by broadening your customer demographic. Prestashop allows for multi-store management and allows the user to manage multiple businesses through the platform. Prestashop is a completely free software to download. Users will need to purchase their own domain, though, as well as add-ons and themes. Prestashop is a decent software to begin an online business and is affordable to a person who is opening an online business for the first time or just wants to see if owning an online business is right for them. Prestashop has a lot of options for customization and you can definitely make you online shop completely yours from domain to the theme without anything holding you back. The issue with that is if you aren’t a developer or aren’t very savvy with website design you are going to have a hard time doing all of this customization and may need to hire a website designer to design and customize your website for you. Therefore, the affordability of Prestashop begins to diminish since you’re now paying for a domain, theme, and a developer to set it all up for you. Prestashop does come with some templates and such to get you going but not enough to cut out the designer all together if you aren’t familiar with developing. Prestashop is an option for online store beginners but not the best option compared to other free online store hosts in the world.
