The app is like sending a glimpse of where you're at so other people can find you if you're trying to meet someone or if you want someone to know where you are if you're running late. Another benefit is that you can send a request to someone so that you know where that person is located. This is helpful if you know someone who is always late to work or who is always late for meetings. It's also beneficial for people who are late to practices or special events. You can see if there are any issues that would require assistance or if the person hasn't left home yet. Aside from sending one location, you can set up a group if there are several people who are supposed to meet at one time. A reunion or a birthday party would be examples of when you would want to make sure everyone gets to the proper destination on time. There isn't any kind of sign-up fee or registration that you have to complete. Anyone can see your location as long as they have an internet connection. Your location will expire after a certain time, so it's a safe app to use if you're worried about strangers seeing where you're located. The app doesn't take up a lot of storage on your device because it runs in the background instead of running on your home screen all the time.

Sorry - I don't see the point of this. It displays a map showing where I am. Usually (except late on Sat night) I know this. Then when I want to find out where my family members are, I have to send them a message every time and wait for them to allow connection. I could just send an SMS text and ask where they are. Or even call them: phones will do this. And then the connection only lasts for 15 minutes up to 12 hours and then I have to repeat the process. Still, I suppose it's a free waste of space...
