CPU-Z
CPU-Z is a free utility that provides in-depth information about your device. These details include both CPU and GPU information (including clocks speeds, number of cores and CPU usage), cache information, motherboard details and memory data. The software runs on both Windows and Android devices, and on Android devices the software further provides details about the device's battery and the various sensors it controls. But at the same time the Android version is missing some of the features available in the Windows version, such as the ability to save reports. Finally, the Windows version of the software also allows you to benchmark your device against another.

- The Android version does not have benchmarking or the ability to save reports
- The Android version has ads
It is not uncommon for people to want to see details about how their computer or device is running, especially when they feel it is not running as fast as it should be. This is why CPU-Z is such a nifty little tool. It exposes just about every detail imaginable about your device, including how fast it is and how much resources it is using. It also provides benchmarks so that you can compare your device to another. While much of the information it provides about Windows computers is available within the operating systems itself, CPU-Z puts all this information in one place. It is especially handy for Android devices, as much of this information is not so easily accessible within the operating system. Best of all, the software is completely free to use. This does not mean that CPU-Z does not have its drawbacks. First of all, if you use a Mac, an iOS device or Linux, you are out of luck. It does not support these operating systems at all. The other big drawback is that the Android version of the software is missing vital features, such as the ability to do benchmarking and the ability to save reports. The Android version also displays ads, which can be annoying. Though you can remove these through an in-app purchase.
