RealPlayer
RealPlayer is one of the most popular video players on the market today, and it contains a number of advanced features that make it stand out in the highly competitive field of media players. You can use RealPlayer to download videos directly from the internet, and you can instantly watch those videos through the intuitive app interface. This is just a sample of what RealPlayer can do.
- Watch Videos
- Download Web Content
- Advanced Privacy Settings
- Video Format Conversion
- Occasional Bugs
If you hate having to stream online video content, you should consider taking advantage of the powerful video playback and capture tools in RealPlayer. The software makes it easy to download video clips from the web so you can watch them at any time without buffering. RealPlayer is popular because it offers high stability, exceptional flexibility, and a number of features that other players simply lack. For instance, RealPlayer has an integrated video file converter that allows you to transform video files from one format to another that suites your system. You can even convert videos to MP3s so you can capture an audio file for that video. The software is also able to handle audio CDs as well. Simply insert the audio CD into a connected optical drive, and the software will either play the music on the disc, download it for playback at a later date, or burn a new audio playlist to a blank or rewritable CD. To ensure your content is maximally protected from prying eyes, you can choose to encrypt your files such that they require a secret PIN code in order to view them. Unfortunately, this feature is only available with the premium versions of the software. RealPlayer has been around for quite some time, and it has been downloaded more than one billion times since it was first launched. To get started with RealPlayer, you simply need to download the software, install it, then make a new account for yourself if you don't already have one. The integrated downloading tool can be used to capture videos from the web at your leisure, and the software widget is compatible with just about any standard video hosting service, including YouTube. As mentioned earlier, RealPlayer comes in three basic editions. The basic free edition includes the standard video player functionality. The other tiers of RealPlayer are called RealPlayer 18 Plus and RealPlayer Premium. With RealPlayer 18 Plus, you'll pay a one-time cost to unlock the additional features. These features include more formats for video conversion, DVD burning, private video creation, and audio quality control. With RealPlayer Premium, users can watch videos anywhere and anytime, and those videos can easily be shared and protected behind an exceptionally reliable security net. RealPlayer Premium includes all the additional features that you would get with RealPlayer 18 Plus, but it also includes an additional 25GB of storage in the RealCloud. You can choose to pay by the month or by the year, and when you buy a subscription that extends into the future, it will cover any updates to the software during that time period.
It's great. Except when they get bugs. At this time, as we speak, I cannot download any videos. (Esp. "YouTube") I think their key to success is ignore complaints. Don't respond to customer service complaints and they'll go away. I'm lazy. I don't like editing. I download and burn to dvd. I had to upgrade to premium (another $50 bucks) to use this software = download and burn. I wish there was another set up. I would buy it and forget real player in the dust.
I have long been a user of Realplayer, but it sucks when using Opera Browser! It won't stop running, and I have to manually end the process!
