- Complete solution for course production. With the built-in e-Learning asset library, advanced video studio, interaction templates, conversation simulations, and quiz authoring tool, iSpring Suite became an essential solution for course creators worldwide.
- Short learning curve. iSpring tools are known for their ease of use: you don't need to be a technical person or undergo any training to create eLearning content.
- Best-in-industry support of PowerPoint effects. iSpring Suite is the only toolkit that supports even the most sophisticated PowerPoint effects, such as 3D transitions, trigger animations, timings, etc.
- Quick Access to a Huge Content Library: iSpring Suite includes a vast collection of eLearning assets (course templates, characters, locations, icons, and controls), massively accelerating the course creation process.
- Interactive Templates Involving Trainees in Learning: With interactive templates, coaches and trainers can build motivating and more engaging training content for their learners with a lot less effort.
- Instant Sharing Through Integrated Service: iSpring Suite is perfectly integrated with a cloud service for sharing. A content creator can instantly send their online courses to personal cloud storage and share them with one click.
- Cross-platform output. iSpring’s adaptive content plays perfectly across multiple platforms and devices and conforms to all eLearning standards: SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, Experience xAPI (Tin Can), and cmi5.
- Learning platform is equally functional on all types of devices - One of the more beneficial components of iSpring Suites is that users can access courses on their personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. Full functionality is retained throughout.
- Easily integrate existing PowerPoint slides - If you have already completed a series of PowerPoint slides and developed them for a course, they can easily be integrated in iSpring Suites. Any animations and transitions will also transfer with no problem.
- Quick learning curve for participants - The program is relatively easy to use, so students and training attendees can easily learn how to make use of the various features that they need to be successful.
- Templates can give a canned feel when publishing multiple courses - When multiple courses are published, they can begin to look alike if all of the same features are used. This takes away the creativity and ingenuity that many users might be looking for.
- Pricing is a bit steep for smaller organizations - There is not a one time fee option for iSpring Suites. To continue using it, an annual licensing fee must be paid. This might be a bit steep for many small businesses.
- Some features not easy to use on mobile devices - While the site is responsive in nature, some of the features are not easy to manipulate on a smartphone or tablet.
Review iSpring Suiite is billed as an all-in-one online learning platform. Publishers can design their course and get it online without having to use third party add-ons or subscribe to expensive outside services. Upon a review of the package, we found that they deliver on most of their promises. Users can utilize a variety of instructional methods to put content up in the course. This includes video lectures, text, pictures, and much more. The course is interactive, and chat rooms can be integrated to encourage more participation from the attendees. For courses that require students to demonstrate a certain competency level before moving on, assessment potential is also built into iSpring Suites. Existing PowerPoint slides can be used with the course. Working with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, content can be written offline and then integrated into the course when ready. The license for the program is on an annual basis, and allows authors or publishers to promote their product around the world.
