ES File Explorer
Have you ever wanted to explore the depths of your SD card in your Android phone, but lacked access to a computer? Or wanted to sort through your music collection and possibly move or trim some of the files stored on your phone? ES File Explorer is a GREAT choice! ES File Explorer is always one of the first apps that I install on a new Android phone. It works with pretty much every version of Android that has been released as of present. And it is definitely one of the best file browsers. If your phone offers root access, you can even look at the internal file system of the Android operating system. Basically, it provides you a small footprint (takes up almost no space at all), application to look through the file system of your Android phone and/or tablet. I'm sure that you have already been sold on the app, however, I can honestly say that I can't recommend a better app. It can get a little in depth and you have to be VERY careful not to delete important files, so you might want to look elsewhere if you are looking for something very simple to use for file management. Other than that one minor flaw (and some would even put that in the positive column!), you can't get a better app than ES File Explorer for navigating your storage space on your Android phone or tablet.
- SD card and/or your on-board file system as well
- Allows moving and deleting of files both on the SD card and on-board file system
- Allows for exploration of the internal Android file system(which I must reiterate again is not for the basic users, and this feature DOES require root access)
- Android operating system
