Instant Housecall offers many technical support features such as automatically reconnecting with the customer if the connection is lost, conferencing calls between parties or transferring customers to other agents, rebooting and reconnecting the customer's computer in safe mode, and remotely running files. Instant Housecall also offers many business support tools such as keeping a history of sessions and notes on what happened in these sessions, screenshots of the computer as you work on it and recording what happens, chat options so that the agent is able to keep in communication with the customer, detailed reports on remote repairs, and many more features. Instant Housecall starts at $29 per month and ranges up to $75 per month. Instant Housecall is a convenient tool for technical support representatives or businesses that need technical support. The software allows for remote repairs on customer computers which is a lot easier and cost-efficient than having to send a technical support representative to the customer's home whenever they have an issue with their computer. Instant Housecall also makes it easy to complete the repairs on the customer's computer with all of the repair features and lets you keep in communication with the customer over chat until it is complete, and you take payment online. Instant Housecall can be a little expensive compared to industry competitors and it is unfortunate that all of the features that are available on Windows are not available on Mac but it is still a good software.
