WikidPad

WikidPad

WikiPad is a digital notepad application that uses a wiki build to help you keep track of your thoughts. Wiki, originally meaning "quick" in Hawaiian, simply means that the technology uses links to piece together information in a quick and seamless way.

Features of WikidPad
  • WikiPad allows you to fill your entries with whatever kind of content you want.
  • You can include any sort of list or memo, including todo lists, which you can plan out the creation of ahead of time.
  • WikiWords are links that wikiPad uses to connect your wikiPad entries together in a quick and seamless fashion.
  • They allow for simple and quick navigation.
  • WikiPad works for you in real time and saves whatever content you choose to place in your entries.
Pros of WikidPad
  • WikiPad entries are easy to write and can be about anything. The content that goes into them is completely up to you, but some of the most common uses are for todo lists and thought catalogues.
  • The links between entries in wikiPad. also called wikiWords, are easy to find and place throughout your entries.
  • The application makes self improvement much easier as it gives you a place to both collect your thoughts and track your own progress.
Cons of WikidPad
  • The only very unique feature that separates wikiPad from other memo applications is the use of wikiWords that link pages. Other than those, there really is no big difference between wikiPad and standard memo apps.
  • It can be easy to get lost in your web of wikiPad entries early on if you do not figure out how you want to format and connect them. It is not impossible to go back and change your mistakes, but it can be a pain.
  • There is nothing to keep you using wikiPad, and it can be easy to forget about entries and find yourself not caring anymore.
WikidPad Reviews

I found wikiPad's services to be useful, but it can be easy to fall in and out of using them. WikiPad leaves the content of your lists and memos up to you. This is a good thing because it allows you to have total control over them, but if you start piecing them together in a messy way, you may not like the way that your wikiPad flows later on. Also, if you find that you are not very interested in constantly entering wikiPad entries, it can be easy to simply stop doing it. However, if you are looking for a memo service that you can easily navigate through and know you will use it, wikiPad is definitely for you. WikiWords, which are the links that bind your entries together, are easy to use and place. All you have to do is insert them through the toolbar, which is very easy to find and simple to use.
