I subscribed to RawShorts as an alternative to Powtoon because I found that really expensive and thought I could get the job done with RawShorts too, but for half the price. Well, I should have paid double for Powtoon... In a nutshell, using RawShorts doesn't just simply makes me annoyed, it often makes me angry. I'm gonna assume that the creators of RawShorts have never heard the terms User Experience and UX Test. (If they do happen to know what a UX test is and still haven't done a single one then shame on them. If they have in fact done UX tests the people responsible for it should probably look for a carrier better suited to their abilities.) What's really sad about this app is that it could actually be a fine alternative for Powtoon for half the price... if it would work properly. Sadly it does not. The most annoying bug is that when you export your video the texts get completely distorted. You position it the way you like when you edit your video, but when you watch the exported video it's completely off. The bottom of the text gets chopped down so much that you can't read the text. And this is like how I wasted about 10 of the 25 monthly exports... trying to fit the text which should just fit the first place. When you (try to) position an element in the center you sometimes will sweat blood trying to find the guiding blue lines. And what's with that when you export a video you have to navigate to your profile, and then on the bottom of the page search for my exports and download your video. Are you kidding me? It's a lot of extra clicks and thinking for something so obvious. Seriously someone at your team just please please please look up on Wikipedia what UX is already. The other day I was trying to import a picture and I wasted literally half an hour of my life because the thing just wouldn't work. I could go on and on but I've already wasted a LOT of time on RawShorts. So to recap: the app could be great if it wouldn't be terrible. Guys at RawShorts: get your act together, read a book on UX and if you happen to drastically improve these stupid little annoying things, I maybe, just maybe consider subscribing for another month (if it's still half the price of Powtoon, otherwise no chance).
Worst experience ever. Spent $200 on pre-paid credits that intends to be used up on trial and error when the platform doesn't even work properly. Your words get distorted, the platform is a nightmare to use and quoting the other user, you will sweat blood, literally.
worst experience ever. avoid this software. Complete waste of time, and I never write reviews.
I got a load of credits to use whenever I needed them... like the other reviews ... I swear you have to be a Zen Buddhist to not scream at the screen while working on Raw Shorts UI/UX is a nightmare so I made two videos and paused... when I went to use it again hoping they had improved the system they had deleted my account and expired my credits. No warning no way to reinstate even if I asked them to. I understand some systems have credits that expire but Raw Shorts was not clear on their policy... that's $200+ that only game hours of frustration. The end result was not bad but not worth the suffering and their horrible customer service.
